Removing the door cover
The plastic inlay of the door cover may discolour over time. The cover must be removed
for thorough cleaning. To do this, first remove the oven door as shown in the „Removing
the oven door“ section.
1. Press the right and left sides of the cover.
2. Remove the cover.
3. After removing the cover, the remaining parts of the oven door can be easily
removed so that you can continue cleaning. After you have cleaned all parts of
the oven door and the cover itself, put the cover back in the door. You will hear a
clicking sound when the cover is properly fastened.
4. Replace the appliance door in the appliance as shown in section „Inserting the
oven door“.
Note
: It is recommended to remove the door cover only when the oven door has
been removed from the appliance.
Note the following if you remove the cover while the door is installed:
• Removal of the door cover means that the inner glass of the oven door is now
without surround and can therefore move easily. This can cause damage to
property and/or personal injury if handled incorrectly.
• Removing the door cover means that the total weight of the oven door is reduced.
The hinges may move faster when the door is closed and you could get trapped.
Keep your hands away from the hinges.
• Damage caused by incorrect handling is not covered by the warranty.
