SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Follow the safety instructions. Failure to observe the instructions may result in damage to
property and/or personal injury or death!
CAUTION
Risk of burns! The unit becomes very hot during and after use. To
prevent burns, use oven gloves and ensure that children and pets are at
a safe distance from the grill.
• The grill is only suitable for outdoor use. Do not operate the grill inside buildings,
garages or other enclosed areas.
• The appliance components must not be altered by the user of the appliance.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended while in use.
•
Ensure that the unit is at least 3 meters from fl ammable materials.
•
When changing the gas cylinder, make sure that the distance to ignition sources is
at least one meter.
• If the gas valve leaks, turn off the gas supply to the appliance.
• Always carry out a leak test as described in this manual before switching on the
appliance. Check the hose, regulator, valve and all other gas lines for holes. Do not
use the appliance if you fi nd a gas leak.
• If rain, snow, hail, sleet or other forms of precipitation enter the grill while cooking
with oil or grease, immediately cover the cooking vessel and turn off the burner and
gas supply. Do not attempt to move the appliance or the cooking container.

When grilling, the appliance must be placed on a fl at, stable, non-combustible
surface and at a safe distance from combustible materials.
• Do not move the appliance while it is in use.
• This appliance should never be used as a heater.
•
Do not modify or attempt to repair the unit yourself. Modifi cations to the equipment
or its components may result in property damage, personal injury, or death. Repairs
should only be carried out by qualifi ed personnel.
• Before each use of the unit, check that no insects or insect nests can be seen in the
burner, in the pipes and in the openings of the unit and remove them if present.
Spiders and small insects may nest in the lines and openings when the unit is not
in use. This can block the air and gas fl ow, causing a yellow fl ame to recoil and
causing a fi re below the burner. Therefore, remove insects and insect nests, if any,
before each use.
