Removing/installing cathode sections
Once the filter module is located in horizontal
position please remove each section for
maintenance and cleaning.
Rise the handles and slide out the cathode section
from the filter as shown in the picture. Plastic han-
dles enable an easy section removal and trans-
portation.

Cleaning enclosure section of the filtering modules
If necessary it is possible to clean the electrostatic
filters' frame with compressed air. However
please be careful not to damage the electrodes. In
case of stubborn contamination it is possible to
use alcohol solution by soft wiping with a damp
cloth.

8.3 Heat exchangers
a) Water heater
Condition of the heater fins should be checked less frequently, every 12 months, however it is recommended to do it
while replacing the filters. When the exchanger is contaminated, it should be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner with a
soft suction nozzle on the side of air inlet or blown through with compressed air on the side of air outlet. It is also pos-
sible to wash it with warm water and cleaning agent that does not cause aluminum corrosion.
When filling the installation, it should be remembered to bleed the exchanger at all times.
b) Electrical heater
The electric heater should be kept appropriately clean. Dust settling on the heating elements hampers heat output,
and as a result may cause burnout of the heating elements and a fire hazard. The condition of the heating elements
should be checked every four months. They should be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner with a soft suction nozzle on
the side of air inlet or blown through with compressed air. Wet cleaning is not allowed.
c) Water and glycol cooler
Apart from operations similar to those done for the water heater, the following should be checked: clean condition of
the drop separator, drip tray and permeability of condensate drain and condition of the trap. If the droplet separator is
contaminated, wash it with warm water with washing agents.
Before the winter period water should be drained from the cooler if chilled water is the medium, if the exchanger is
exposed to direct flow of cold air.
