Troubleshooting
Use the following table to troubleshoot problems before contacting service personnel or your local
dealer. If the problem continues after troubleshooting, call your local dealer for assistance.
Problem
Solution
Motor is not working.
•
Check the power supply.
•
Plug in the power cord.
•
Check the power cord for defects and if
found, replace cord.
•
Check the brush and replace if necessary.
•
Check the switch and replace with a new
one if it is defective.
Motor is working but cutting block is not working.
•
Remove the cutter block (#6, RC25-003)
from the piston (#15, RC25-005) and any
foreign particles on the piston (#15, RC25-
005).
•
Check oil and if it’s low, fill up cylinder (#22,
RC25-010).
•
Change the return spring (#13, RC25-004) if
the above items do not solve the problem.
Cutting block is working but rebar is not cut.
•
Re-assemble cutter block to expose the
unused side (#6, RC25-003).
•
Change the cutter block (#6, RC25-003) if
all edges are damaged or worn.
