9.3.  Replacing diaphragm and valve plates 

  Disconnect the motor from mains and ensure that it is voltage-

free. 

  Allow the pump and the motor to cool 

  Clean the pump and free the pump of hazardous materials. 

  Remove the hoses/pipes from the pneumatic pump inlet and 

outlet.

maintain the pump performance. 

Change the diaphragm and valve plate in the following sequence: 
a) Preparatory step 
b) Removing pump head 
c) Changing diaphragm 
d) Changing valve plate and sealing ring 
e) Refitting pump head 
f) Final step
