WARNING

Particles flung outwards will, for instance, cause severe eye injuries.
Cautiously unscrew the filling plug A.

Avoid any contact with oil. Wear protective gloves.
CAUTION
Hot oil!
Danger of burns.
Wear protective gloves to drain off the oil.
If the unit starts to malfunction, trace possible problems on board. Causes of trouble can be corrected with the help
of the directions proposed for debugging.
This table is related only to the compressor, e-motor is out of scope.

Oil temperature is below the
allowed limit
Check the oil grade. Contact KNORR-BREMSE.
Note the oil type plate above the oil filler plug A.
Compressor internal pressure
is not released
Remove air purge pipe – be careful of remaining
pressure.
- In case of no air purged, exchange the pressure
release valve.
- If air is purged , exchange Outlet check valve.
E-motor defective
Check e-motor troubleshooting.
Compressor defective
Remove the compressor set and send to
KNORR-BREMSE for repair.
