6. To switch off the device, move the
rotary switch for the speed settings to
the
OFF
position.
7. Pull the mains plug out of the plug
socket. The LED ring goes out.
Danger of injury from rotating
device parts!
Always wait until
the insert has come to a com-
plete standstill before putting
up the mixer head.
8. Remove the used insert and the mix-
ing bowl (see “Inserting / Removing
Accessories”).
9. Clean the device after each use to
prevent germ formation (see the
“Cleaning and Storage” chapter). Do
not allow any food residues to dry on.
CLEANING AND STORAGE
Please Note!

The motor unit is not suitable for be-
ing cleaned in the dishwasher!
■
Do not use any corrosive or abrasive
cleaning agents to clean the device.
These may damage the surface.
1. Remove any possible food residues
and clean all used parts (apart from
the motor unit (

)!) with warm water
and detergent or in the dishwasher.
2. Then dry all parts thoroughly.
3. Wipe down the motor unit with a
damp cloth if necessary.
4. Store the motor unit and all accesso-
ries in a clean, dry place that is out of
the reach of children and animals.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If the device does not work properly,
check whether you are able to rectify the
problem yourself. If the problem cannot
be solved with the steps below, contact
the customer service department.
Do not attempt to repair an elec-
trical device yourself!
The device does not work.
The mains plug is not inserted in the plug
socket correctly.

Correct the fit of the mains plug.
The plug socket is defective.

Try another plug socket.
There is no mains voltage.
►
Check the fuse of the electrical dis-
tributor (fuse box).
The device switches itself off auto
matically.
The device is overloaded.
►
Switch off the device and pull the
mains plug out of the plug socket.
Allow the device to cool down for
approx. 5 – 10 minutes. Then start
operating it again.
During use, an unpleasant smell is
detected.
The device is being used for the first
time. There are production residues
in / on the device. This is normal and will
not occur again later.

Make sure that the room is well
ventilated!
