Corrective Action
Unplug the Ethernet cable.
Weak signal
Probable Cause
The access point is too far away or there is interference.
Corrective Action

If there is a long distance between your computer or access point and the printer, move
them closer together.

If there are metal objects (such as a metal bookcase or refrigerator) in the transmission
path, clear the path between the printer and the computer or access point.
x
If a cordless telephone, microwave, or other device that emits radio signals transmitting
at 2.4 GHz is nearby, move it farther away to reduce radio interference.

Cannot connect to network
Probable Cause 1
The equipment is not turned on.
Corrective Action
Turn on the networked devices, such as the access point for an infrastructure network, or
the computer for an ad hoc network. For more information on how to turn on the access
point,
see
the documentation that came with your access point.
Probable Cause 2
The All-in-One printer is not receiving a signal.
Corrective Action
Move the access point and the printer closer together. Then go through setup again.
Probable Cause 3
You have entered the SSID incorrectly.
Corrective Action
Enter the SSID correctly. Remember that the SSID is case-sensitive.
Probable Cause 4
You have entered the WEP key incorrectly.
Corrective Action
Enter the WEP key correctly. Remember that the WEP key is case-sensitive.
