from the unload table, cuts registration features into the plates,
and ejects them to the plate processing equipment or plate
stacker.
Rear hood
A hinged section of the exterior surface of the platesetter that is
relied upon as an access panel. Operators can unlock and lift
the rear hood for maintenance or error recovery.
Universal debris removal cabinet (UDRC)
An accessory that filters potentially harmful airborne emissions
released during imaging certain types of media. It is optional for
platesetters but required for Kodak Flexcel NX imagers.
Safety standards and compliance labels
The platesetter is designed, built, and tested according to
internationally recognized safety standards for reducing the risk of
death and serious injury from laser, mechanical, and electrical hazards.
The platesetter complies with the following standards:
