their probable causes and remedies.

Scanner/microimager does
not power on (status display
does not illuminate).
The power cord is not
connected.
Push the power cord plug into the
receptacle.
The wall outlet is defective.
Check the outlet (call an
authorized electrician).
The main power switch is off.
Turn the main power switch on.
The side panel switch is off.
Turn the side panel switch on.
The cabinet covers are not
closed.
Check and close all the cabinet
covers.
Documents not feeding
properly.
The feed and separator roller
gap is not properly adjusted.

Feeding thick documents
without using the gap release
