Separation module release lever
— push this lever down to release
the separation module for cleaning or replacement.
Gap release

— allows you to manually adjust the space between
the feed module and separation module for photos that require special
handling, e.g., photos that are badly torn.
Scanner cover release

— opens the scanner to allow access to
the paper path for cleaning or clearing a jam.
Paper present sensor
— detects the presence of photos or
documents in the input tray.
