Chapter 4.
Maintenance
This chapter describes the routine and corrective maintenance
procedures that may be performed by an operator.
Routine maintenance must be performed to ensure the printer continues
to operate properly. As operator, you perform two types of routine
maintenance on the printer: daily and periodic.
Corrective maintenance procedures are performed to correct printing
problems, as directed by the troubleshooting procedures described in
Chapter 3.
Required Tools and Supplies
The following tools are required to perform the maintenance procedures
described in this chapter:

Compressed air
•
Mist filter
•
Spare printhead bottom cover
•
Kodak Versamark-supplied, foam-tipped swabs
•
Distilled water
•
Wrist grounding strap.
