6.- Charging the Buoy Batteries

To fit the buoy on the charger this must be inserted on the charging hole then just push in and 
turn clockwise until the two tops inside the charging hole are inserted on to the buoy bottom 
rails (Picture 4).

Charging led will become Red when the buoy is on charge and Green when buoy is fully 
charged.

The GPS Buoy can be placed on the charger at any time after use.

Estimated charging time is around 8 hours (with battery level at 0%) and when fully charged the 
buoy working time will be approximatly 5 days (Transmitting time every 10 minutes).

Before introducing the buoy into the charger it must be dried to prevent salt 
water from accumulating inside the charger. It is also advisable to occasionally 
add a little petroleum jelly over the screw on the bottom of the buoy.
