Protective devices
The
2-wheel tractor
is equipped with a
clutch/safety stop lever
on the steering shaft
(left), which disengages the drive via the clutch when released – the engine continues to run. The
drive and the clutch are switched off (see
fig. 2
- page 12).
The clutch/safety stop lever serves as an
emergency stop switch
in dangerous situations where
fast switch-off is required. It swivels automatically into the
‘STOP’
position when released.
It is locked there and can only be actuated when the catch is pressed. Stop the 2-wheel trac-
tor immediately if there are any malfunctions with the clutch/safety stop lever. Have the
malfunction rectified immediately!
Caution!
The engine runs on due to the centrifugal mass!
Tools running on – danger of injury!
•
The
clutch/safety stop lever must be depressed
(operating position) during operation.
•
The clutch/safety stop lever must always be in the Drive OFF position when starting the
machine.
•
It is forbidden by
to leave the clutch/safety stop lever in the start position (cou-
pling/safety stop lever is not depressed) when the machine is to be cleaned – e.g. in order to
clean the snow hoe. First bring the appliance to a halt only by switching off the engine and
then clean the tool.
It is forbidden to disable the safety stop lever by tying or taping it up.
