Driving wheels
The tyre pressures must be checked regularly– see ‘Technical data’.
In particular, it must be ensured that the tyre pressures of both wheels are equal in order to guar-
antee effortless driving.
In the case of new wheels or a new
2-wheel tractor, the wheel bolts or nuts must be
checked and if necessary retightened to 100 Nm after the first two hours of operation. Otherwise
always during service work.
Mount the wheels with the tread spikes pointing in the driving direction (as seen from above the
wheels); this produces the full traction power.

Clutch
The clutch lever must be pulled with the engine running and traction drive (1st gear) engaged.
The clutch is correctly adjusted if the clutch disengages only in the last third of the clutch travel -
see
fig. 27
.
The clutch adjustment must be checked and re-adjusted if necessary after the first hour of opera-
tion. It is adjusted by means of the
adjusting screw
on the clutch lever –
see
fig. 27
.
Depending on the application, the adjusting screw must be screwed in or out in order to adjust
the clutch correctly.
Secure the adjusting screw again afterwards by means of the lock nut!
