Basket
Clean the basket with a soft cloth dampened with soapy water or diluted detergent. Allow
to air dry or use another soft cloth to wipe dry.
Defrosting
Frost will accumulate in the freezer over extended use and the freezer will need to be
defrosted. It is recommended to defrost when the frost is about half a centimetre thick. To
defrost:
1.
Unplug the freezer and open the lid. Remove any foods and the basket, then place
the foods in a cool area.
2.
Place a container under the water outlet. Unscrew the drain plug over the water
outlet and allow any water to flow out.
3.
As the freezer defrosts, wipe the interior with a dry, soft cloth. An ice scraper may be
used to accelerate the cleaning process.
4.
Once defrosted and cleaned, place the basket and any foods back into the freezer.
Light
If the light needs maintenance or needs to be replaced, contact a qualified professional to
perform this procedure.
Do not attempt to perform maintenance or replace the light yourself.
Storage
If the freezer will not be used for an extended period, unplug the power cord, and leave the
lid open to prevent odours.
Note:
Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate the defrosting process
as this may cause damage to the refrigerant circuit.
