4. INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS

A. MATERIALS REQUIRED

Plumbers putty

Silicone sealant

Metal shims

Water-resistant subfloor sealant

Wall coverings, as necessary

Gypsum plaster

NOTE:  Site preparation and wall/floor finishing may
require additional materials.

B. TOOLS REQUIRED

Arc pliers or 14” pipe wrench

Rule

Screwdriver

7/16” ratchet or combination wrench

Conventional woodworking tools

Safety shoes

Safety glasses

Pliers

Utility knife

NOTE:  Site preparation and wall/floor finishing may
require additional tools.

 C. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS

Check roughing-in and room dimensions to provide
adequate space for the bath unit.

D.  NEW OR REPLACEMENT INSTALLATION

REQUIREMENTS

This bath unit can be installed in new or existing
bathrooms.

For new installations: Position plumbing according to
roughing-in dimensions located on Page 2. Cap the
supplies and check for leaks.

For replacement installations: Remove the old bath,
the old wall material, and the old finished floor material
from the area. Remove any old plumbing which does not
conform to roughing-in requirements.

5. SITE PREPARATION

A. OLD BATH REMOVAL

Disconnect the drain at the trap. Remove the old wall
material. Slip boards under old bath feet to protect
the floor 
and slide the old bath out of the recess as
illustrated.
