16. PLUMBLINE PROGRAM
SHORT EXPLANATION
Plumbline program is used for straightness measurement of the shafts and to measure their centerline
relative to the absolute plumbline. This program use self-calibrating feature of the laser when it is indexed
180°. Laser transmitter is placed at four sides of the shaft at 12 o’clock and 6 o’clock
For accurate plumbline you should perform very careful leveling using vials.
Plan the measure by placing transmitter at the first position (12 o’clock), confirm position by enter
angle manually(digit only without ‘°’). Mark the measurement points on the shafts. Store all measurement
values for this transmitter position. Then move the transmitter to the opposite side(6 o’clock) of the shaft,
switch AVV-711 to opposite side by
, confirm new position by enter angle manually (once for side)
and store all measurement values for this transmitter position at the same heights as before.
PERFORM PLUMBLINE MEASUREMENT
To start program select “Plumbline” from main menu and press
