8.2 TO COLLECT DATA AND ALIGN
To collect data and align refer to Horizontal machine alignment. Note the following differences:

Minimum shafts rotating angle must be not lower than 75 degrees;
·
Offset corrections are not applicable to cardan shaft alignment. Therefore offset misalignment
values does not displayed;
·
Standard tolerances are not applicable to cardan shaft alignment. Ignore it;
·
The resulting feet corrections values not zero for only one of the foots, positive toward zero.
Because of we do not need offset correction we don’t need make changes to both foots too.
