ALC Mask area settings
The screen is divided into 45 (5×9) areas. Select the masking/no masking area for the
photometric measurements of Auto Level Control.
These modes are effective to achieve the proper exposure values when the main object is under
the difficult conditions such as backlighting and
oblique light.
S Circle, M Circle and L Circle are preset settings.
Select [Manual] mode and the 44 blocks of masking area can be changed individually. The 1
block in the center is fixed as no mask area and cannot be changed.

S Circle: The size of photometric measurement area is small.
