ALC Mode settings
Automatic exposure control is performed by ALC with electric shutter and gain.
At the ALC Mode, you can give priority to electric shutter or gain for automatic exposure control.
So you can set the suitable exposure mode for the targeting scene.
Full Auto
The Full Auto mode is controlled with electric shutter and gain. It is recommended to use this
mode normally.
The range of each item is adjustable with Shutter Limit and Gain Limit
separately , and can
provide flexible exposure settings.
Below is example:
- Put restrictions on [Shutter Limit] value in order to suppress a flicker of a high-intensity
images.
- Change [Gain Limit] value for images that the S/N ratio performs important effect.
When you want to use slow shutter, change the value of [Shutter Limit (L)] into 1/30s (1/25s)
or lower.
※
Factory setting of [Shutter Limit (L)] is OFF (1/30s).
Shutter Priority
You can set any shutter speed, and exposure is automatically controlled with gain.
When the image contains the fast moving subjects, you can select high shutter speed so that
the target subject can be captured clearly.
For the solution of the flicker problems under fluorescent lighting, you can change the shutter
speed into 1/50s or 1/100s (50Hz locations).
