2.7 PRECAUTIONS FOR EMERGENCY RECOVERY

•
The draw hooks must be used only for the first aid and not for
towing the machine.
•
Before moving the machine, make sure that the gearshift lever
is in neutral and disengage the four-wheel drive.
•
Incorrect manoeuvres may result in serious injuries or even
death.
•
To move the machine, use properly dimensioned steel cables;
do not use worn cables or cables with broken strands (A),
twisted cables (B), deformed cables (C).
•
During the removal, no one can be allowed to get near the ma-
chines or the cable.
•
Do not get astride the cable.
•
Remove the machine only as much as necessary to permit the
required repairs.
•
Do not remove the machine in any way other than that indicat-
ed in paragraph “3.15.1 HOW TO REMOVE THE MACHINE”.
CAUTION
•
The maximum applicable force for each draw hook is
F = 6300 kg.
•
Use cables having the same length and draw continuosly
and constantly, without jerks.
•
The drawing force must be parallel to the machine axis
(advancement direction), in such a way as to avoid the ap-
plication of sideward forces on the draw hooks.
