ENGAGING THE FOUR-WHEEL DRIVE
DANGER
•
The four-wheel drive must be engaged only with machine
at rest or travelling at low speed.
•
The four-wheel drive can be engaged only in 1
st
or 2
nd
gear; when the other gears are engaged, the four-wheel
drive cannot be connected.
•
When travelling on roads or removing the machine, disen-
gage the four-wheel drive.
The four-wheel drive is engaged and disengaged by means of
the push button (1) on the gearshift control. It is normally used
when the machine must move on muddy, icy, gravelly ground, on
slopes and in any situation in which it is difficult to move the ma-
chine. The four-wheel drive must be used even when the ma-
chine is provided with the optional equipment to be employed as
snowplough.
