CHECKING AND CLEANING THE RECIR-
CULATING AIR FILTER (only for ma-
chines with air conditioner)
DANGER
•
Always wear safety goggles during the cleaning opera-
tions.
If the machine is provided with air conditioning system, besides
the external filter (3) there is also an additional internal filter (6)
for the internal air recirculation. This is a filter that holds the im-
purities present in the air and it must be cleaned whenever a de-
crease in the air circulation is observed. The filter can be
reached from the inside of the cab and to clean the filtering ele-
ment it is necessary to proceed as follows:
1 - Remove the screws (4), remove the outer guard (5) and ex-
tract the filtering element (6).
2 - Hit the element slightly on the palm of your hand to eliminate
the dust and blow compressed air on its surfaces, keeping
the jet at a distance of about 15 cm and making sure that the
pressure does not exceed 4÷5 bars.
3 - Carefully clean the filter casing, taking care to prevent any
foreign matter from getting into the suction duct.
4 - Put back the filtering element (6) and the guard (5).
IMPORTANT
☞
•
If the filtering element is excessively clogged or damaged,
change it with a new one.
