3.2.10 TILTING THE CAB FLOOR (machines with cab)
WARNING
q
Always keep to the warnings when tilting or closing the cab floor. Any operation carried out incorrectly
may cause serious injury.
q
Do not tilt or close the cab floor on slopes or if there is a strong wind.
q
Do not get too near the cab floor tilting or closing area and do not enter the cab when the cab floor is
tilted.
q
Do not start the engine when the cab floor is tilted.
q
After lifting the platform, always attach the safety stop.
q
Do not carry out any operation on the machine without having first attach the safety stop.
q
If there is something wrong in the locking function when the cab floor is tilted, interrupt work and have
the necessary repairs carried out by your Komatsu Dealer.
q
Always fasten the platform fixing screws to the torque in compliance with the values included in the
section "4.5.1 STANDARD TIGHTENING TORQUES FOR SCREWS AND NUTS".
Tilting the cab floor
1.
Lower the blade.
2.
Extend the bucket and arm cylinders completely, then lower
the boom slowly.
3.
Shift the safety lever (1) to the “locked” position (L), then stop
the engine.
