Set the lock lever to LOCK (L) position and stop the en-
gine.

Remove the undercover on the lower side of the drain plug
(P).
5.
Remove the cap of oil filler port (F).
6.
Place an oil container to catch oil under the drain plug. Re-
move the (P1) of the drain plug (P) first, loosen (P2), and
drain the oil. After draining the oil, tighten the drain plugs
(P1) and (P2).
Tightening torque: 68.9±9.8 Nm {7±1 kgm}
When loosening the drain plug (P2), be careful not to get
oil on yourself.
7.
Add the refill capacity of oil through the oil filler port (F).
Check that the oil level is between H and L lines on the
sight gauge (G).

Bleed air from the circuit after the hydraulic oil, filter element, and strainer, etc. have been replaced or
cleaned.

IC CIRCUIT”.
9.
Install the undercover on the lower side of the drain plug (P).
EVERY 8000 HOURS MAINTENANCE
Maintenance for every 10, 100, 250, 500, 1000, 2000 and 4000 hours service should be performed at the same
time.

Special techniques and tools are required for this work.
Ask your Komatsu distributor for replacement of the engine high-pressure piping.
METHOD FOR REPLACING FUEL SPRAY PREVENTION CAP
Ask your Komatsu distributor for replacement of the fuel spray prevention caps.
