Check and clean the machine monitor.
Check the machine monitor in the operator's cab for damage. If it has any damage, replace it. When clean-
ing dust, etc. on the machine monitor surface, use a clean, soft, and dry cloth.
REMARK
To remove stubborn stains, oil stains for example, use everyday household detergents (low and medium
acidity cleaners, without abrasive agents), then dry the surface using a dry, clean, and soft cloth.
10. Check if the windows are damaged.
Check if the windows are damaged. If broken, repair them. If any of the windows is broken during the oper-
ation, do not continue the operation but repair the window immediately.
11. Check and clean the mirrors.
Check for damage to the rear view mirror. If damaged, repair them. Clean the surfaces of the mirrors and
adjust the angle so that the area at the rear can be seen from the operator's seat.
12. Check and clean the cameras
Check there are no marks on the camera lens. If marks are present on the lens, clean with a dry and soft
cloth.
Verify that the cameras have no anomalies. If any problem is found, ask your Komatsu distributor for repair.
13. Check the seat belt and coupling.
Check that the seat belt and coupling have no signs of damage If any damage is found, ask your Komatsu
distributor to replace it with new one.
14. Check there are no signs of damage to the bucket with hook.
Check the hook, guide, and hook mount for damage. If any problem is found, ask your Komatsu distributor
for repair.
15. Check and clean the brake pedal area.
Check the area around the brake pedal and remove and
clean any dirt or mud that could prevent correct operation.

METHOD FOR DRAINING WATER AND SEDIMENT FROM FUEL TANK

Rotate the turret so that the cover (1) can be accessed easily.

Loosen bolt (2) and move cover (1).

Place a container under the drain hose to collect the fuel.
