3. Set parking brake switch (4) to the ON position (A) to apply
the parking brake.
NOTE
When the parking brake is applied, the transmission is automati-
cally returned to neutral.
4. Operate lift arm control lever (5) to lower the bucket to the
ground.
5. Check that the lift arm control lever (5) and bucket control
lever (6) is at the HOLD position, then set the work equip-
ment lock lever (7) to the LOCK position.

Checks after completion of operation
1. Walk around the machine and check the work equipment,
body work, and undercarriage, and check also for oil and
water leakage.
2. Fill the fuel tank.
3. Check the engine compartment for paper and debris. Clean
out any paper and debris to avoid a fire hazard.
4. Remove any mud affixed to the undercarriage.
