REPLACE HYDRAULIC TANK BREATHER ELEMENT

WARNING

The parts and oil are at high temperature immediately after the engine is stopped, and may cause
burns. Wait for the temperature to go down before starting the work.

When removing the oil filler cap, turn it slowly to release the internal pressure, then remove it.
1.
Set the bucket horizontally on the ground, then turn the
parking brake ON.
2.
Stop the engine and wait for the temperature at all parts to
go down.
3.
Open the cover on the right side of the operator's compart-
ment.
4.
Remove the cap of oil filler (F).
5.
Remove the snap ring from breather (1), then remove the
breather cap.
6.
Replace the filter element with a new part, then install the
breather cap and snap ring.
7.
Tighten the cap of oil filler (F).
8.
Close the cover on the right side of the operator's compart-
ment.
REMARK
It is possible to replace the element with the breather installed in the tank. However, if the breather is removed, do
not wrap the taper thread of the breather with seal tape when assembling again, and be careful not to tighten too
much.
