The following terms and conventions are used in this user’s manual.

The Caution icon indicates possible damages of the KOMDRUCK ILP –Printer or of

Connectivity
There are several connection options:

USB-port

network port (optional)
Parallel port
Acquire by purchase the parallel cable type IEEE-1284
(for Windows 2000- or Windows XP-operating systems).
USB-port
Acquire by purchase the USB 2.0 cable.
(for Windows 2000- or Windows XP-operating systems).
the cable should not be longer than 3 meter.
Network port (optional)
The printer can also be connected with a Fast Ethernet Print Server to a network
(optional)
. Connect the Fast Ethernet Print Server to the parallel port and connect
the print server via Ethernet-network cable to the LAN.
