CHARGER OPERATION:
1. The DKS-UNI charger will charge only approved rechargeable Ni-Cd, Ni-MH and Li-ion batteries. Be sure to charge
the battery before using the radio for the first time. Do not leave a battery or the radio in the charger for over a week,
as this may affect the battery performance.
2. Plug the power supply into the charger’s socket on rear.
3. Turn off radio.
4. Adjust the position of the battery spacer according to the battery being charged.
5. Insert the batteries with or without the radios by aligning the groove on each side of the battery with the corresponding
raised rail on each side of the charging holder.
6. Slide the battery into the charging holder, ensuring complete contact between the charger and battery contacts.
7. Do not transmit on a charging portable radio.
