allows you to switch to a darker colour theme for easier viewing in a
dim environment.

Color
Change the colour scale of the sonar view.
Which colour scale to use is mainly a personal preference based on ambient light
conditions, the nature of the echoes and your own experience.
•
Camera icon
Click the camera icon to take a screenshot of the DATSS presentation.
•
Scan Speed +
Increase the value of the scan speed.
Increasing the scan speed will rotate the transducer faster.
•
Scan Speed –
Decrease the value of the scan speed.
Use a low scan speed to maintain best possible image quality. Smaller targets
need a lower scan speed.
Note
Changing the scan speed will not change the acoustic beam width.
•
Range +
Increase the maximum theoretical vertical depth and horizontal distance covered
by the DATSS Software.
•
Range –
Decrease the maximum theoretical vertical depth and horizontal distance covered
by the DATSS Software.
•
Gain +
Increase the amplification applied to received echoes to get a higher intensity
image.
•
Gain –
Decrease the amplification applied to received echoes to get a lower intensity
image.
