In
Setup Analog SetPoint
is chosen the type of external signal sent to the
blower control unit. You can choose between two types:
• 0 - 10 V
• 4 - 20 mA
Remember to install the shunt resistor on the blowers terminal block, accor-
ding to the selected signal, see the diagrams at the end of this section.
In box 1 is indicated what the analog signal represents, here the following
units can be chosen:
1. Rpm
- blower operation with fixed speed
2. kPa
- blower adjusted according to specific static pressure in kPa
3. in WG
- blower adjusted according to specific static pressure in inches
water column (inches water gauge)
4. m
3
/h
- blower adjusted according to specific flow in m
3
per hour
5. CFM
- blower adjusted according to specific flow in cubic foot per mi
-
nute (ft
3
/m)
Box 2 indicates the maximum physical value of the analog signal, here il-
lustrated with some examples.
Ex. 1 - The following are selected: Analog set point: 0 - 10 V and Unit in box
2: Rpm.
If value 4800 is entered in box 1, it means that when supplied with 10 V at
analog input 1, the control will use the set point at 4800 rpm. Fed only 5 V
at analog input 1, the control will use a set point of 2400 rpm.
Ex. 2 - The following are selected: Analog set point: 4 - 20 mA and Unit in
box 2: kPa.
If value 20 is entered in box 1, it means that when supplied 20 mA at analog
input 1, the control will use the set point of 20 kPa. Fed only 4 mA at analog
input 1, the control will use a set point of 0 kPa.
Ex. 3 - The following are selected: Analog set point: 4 - 20 mA and Unit in
box 2: CFM.
If value 3500 is entered in box 1, it means that when supplied 20 mA at
analog input 1, the control will use the set point of 3500 CFM. Fed only 12
mA at analog input 1, the control will use a set point of 1750 CFM.
It is recommended to use one of the following values, in case the blower
should operate at maximum performance:
•
4800 Rpm
•
20
kPa
•
6000 m
3
/h
•
80
in WG
•
3500 CFM

In case the set-point should be adjusted from the operator panel display
and/or from the digital inputs, set
Source of Remote Set Point
to
Dis-
play / Digital
. Should the set point be adjusted via the analog input, select
Analog
.
Setup Feedback Sensor are not shown in case regulation by Speed is cho-
sen. Furthermore, if Display/Digital is chosen, Setup Analog SetPoint is not
shown.
