Adjustment of bottom knives
1. Dismount the motor
2. Dismount the transition piece on the bottom knives
side.
3. If the cutting edge of the bottom knives is worn or
damaged, dismounted and turn it to allow a new
cutting edge to be used.
4. Move the bottom knives forward using the three
outside Allen screws without loosening the inside
knives fixing screws to ensure that the knives
provide a clean cut throughout the knives with.
This can be checked by means of a thin piece of
paper. If the adjustment is correct the rotor will
touch the bottom knives slightly when the rotor is
turned by hand. Always turn the rotor in the correct
direction of rotation.
5. If the bottom knives has been adjusted so that the
rotor knives gets too tight, loosen the adjusting and
fixing screws and press back the bottom knives.
Now repeat item 4.
Be careful about your hands and fingers when turning
the rotor manually. Always use gloves.
Never adjust the Multicutter during operation.
Technical Data
To obtain various cutting lengths when using the Multicutter, motors for 2900, 1400
or 900 rpm are provided, together with the rotor with 2 or 3 cutter knives.
The Kongskilde Multicutter may also be provided for 60 Hz power supply
