To check the Maxxum/Dynax 7D firmware version,
press the menu button, and then press the display
button.
The version is displayed under the camera name
(B). The version number is followed by “e” or “u” to
denote the product region. Press the central button
of the controller to close the screen.

If the camera has the 1.10 or later version, do not
update the firmware.
To update the camera firmware, a CompactFlash
card and a personal computer are necessary.
