4.3.2 Printing SMPTE Pattern

Print out one SMPTE pattern from supply tray 1.
1)Touch the menu to invoke the menu mode.
2)log-into the service maintenance mode using
service privilege.
3)Touch the [TEST PRINT] button under the [PRINT]
item.
- The test print selection screen will be displayed.
4)Touch the [SMPTE] button.
- The input device selection screen will be
displayed.
5)Select [NO SELECT] as the input device.
- Selection of [NO SELECT] here will result in the
automatic settings shown below in accordance
with the film type selected in step-6.
- LUT setting
: Linear
- Blue film:
: Maximum density: "300"
Minimum density: "20"
- Clear film:
: Maximum density: "300"
Minimum density: "10"
- Mammography film: : Maximum density: "400"
Minimum density: "20"
6)Select supply tray 1, a copy count of 1 and a frame
count matching the supply tray 1 film size and
touch [PRINT].
For film sizes 14X17, 14X14
: 4 frames
For film sizes 11X14, 10X12, 8X10
: 2 frames
- The SMPTE pattern will be registered in the
queue.
To check printed film density, one SMPTE pattern should be printed out from each tray.
