When the GP-502 displays the screen as shown in 
(Fig. 1), follow the steps given below. 

Open the front door, then rotate the knob marked 
(GP3) counter-clockwise to drive the sheet into the 
paper tray. (Fig.2)

It is also acceptable to rotate the (GP3) roller 
clockwise. This will cause the jammed sheet to be 
moved towards the punch, which in some 
instances may allow for easier removal of the 
jammed sheet. (Fig.3)
