Notes on the use of IX240 cartridge film
• Do not disassemble the cartridge film. Doing so may
disable scanning of image data or damage the carrier.
• To prevent clogging or damaging the film, use it when it is
completely dry after processing.
• Use of damaged cartridge film or repeatedly used
cartridge film may cause an error.
• Before using, check the end of the film. If tape or
adhesive is attached to the start of the film, the carrier may
not operate correctly. If the start of the film is folded, an
error may occur.
• When a scanned image has a frame line due to the
improper position of the frame in the film, correct the
position using the driver software.
• If the start or end of the film is cut too short, scanning of
the film may not be performed correctly.
• The barcode information on the cartridge film may not be
scanned correctly, depending on the conditions of the film.
• Clean film if it is dirty. If the barcode of the film is dirty,
the scanner may detect the film type and the number of
frames incorrectly.
• If film cannot be extended from its cartridge smoothly
when scanning, replace the cartridge with a new one. If
the trouble still persists after cartridge replacement, the
carrier may be damaged. Do not scan it forcibly, stop
scanning and check the condition of the film and the
carrier. If the carrier is damaged, consult your dealer.
