Entering the first day of use
When first using the cassette and plate, please enter
the date on each label .
If the date is not entered on these labels, warranties
may not be applied .
• The labels come with a protective film, so make sure to
attach it after entering the date .
• Make sure to firmly attach the plate’s “first day” label to
the cassette so it cannot peel off .
•
When replacing the plate with a new one, make sure
to enter the new plate’s first day of use on its “first day”
label before attaching it .
Erasing images on a plate
CAUTION
To maintain image quality, erase the plate’s images ev-
ery morning before starting examinations.
A plate in one of the following conditions may influence
image exposure, so be sure to erase plate images be
-
fore performing exposure.
•
A cleaned plate
•
A plate unattended for a long period of time
• A plate after multiple exposure or high-dose exposure is
performed
• A plate after jam repairs are performed
Also, if an image erase request message is displayed on
the Image processing controller’s screen, make sure to
perform image erasing .

Cassette direction during exposure
CAUTION
Make sure the back surface of the cassette (with the
lever, etc .) is facing away from the patient when per-
forming exposure.
Make sure the cassette’s blue corner block is facing
downward, or facing to the left with respect to the up-
ward direction when output is desired, when perform-
ing exposure.

Cassette/Plate Maintenance
IMPORTANT
To use the cassette and plate safely, periodic mainte-
nance is required .
