– Gas hoses must be checked regularly
and replaced if national regulations
require this and/or the period of validity
has been exceeded.
– The type of hose line used to connect
the appliance to the gas tank is speci-
fied by the manufacturer. The max.
length of 1.5 m must not be exceeded.
– Components sealed by the manufac-
turer may not be manipulated under
any circumstances.
– Never use charcoal or other fuels in a
gas-fired grill.
– Do not line the barbecue chamber with
aluminium foil.
– Only use the BBQ grill outside, never in
closed rooms.
– Never use the barbecue under a can-
opy, under bushes, trees, tents or sun-
shades, etc.
– Do not operate in front of combustible
objects such as privacy fences, plants,
etc.
– Always keep access to the barbecue
and especially the gas tank free, keep
escape routes open.
– Safe operation of the barbecue is only
guaranteed if it is set up on a firm, level
and sufficiently stable surface.
– In case of burning fat, turn off all knobs
and the cylinder valve immediately and
wait until the fire is out. Do not open the
lid under any circumstances. Close the
lid when it is safe to do so.
– Keep the power cable and gas hose
away from heated surfaces.
– Set up the barbecue in a safe, level
location before using it. For appliances
with castors, prevent the appliance
from moving from its place. Always lock
lockable castors.
– Place barbecue as protected from the
wind as possible.
– Children and animals may not be
allowed in the vicinity of the grill unless
supervised. Be particularly careful
when igniting!
– Provide suitable fire-extinguishing
material.
– A gas grill may never be put out using
water.
– Do not put on tarpaulins and covers
until the grill has cooled down com-
pletely.
Risk of suffocation!
Children can become entangled in the
packaging film or swallow small parts and
suffocate.
– Do not allow children to play with the
packaging film.
– Prevent children from pulling small
parts off the appliance or taking them
out of the accessory bag and putting
them in their mouths.
CAUTION!
Risk of burning!
– CAUTION: Accessible parts may
become very hot. Keep children away.
– Use the right utensils: Long-handled
utensils protect you from the heat.
Forks should only be used to lift cooked
items, a pair of tongs and a fish slice are
more suitable. If you spear the food with
a fork, it is possible that fat may spill out
and cause flames.
– Before use, check the removable
grease tray and the drip tray for accu-
mulations of grease and remove them
completely.
– Remove excess fat from the food to
avoid a grease fire.
