Commissioning
Before putting the appliance into
operation
• Read chapter “Safety” on page GB-3 4, in
particular the safety instructions.
Suitable gas tanks
There are many different sizes of tank. The
figure shows the maximum tank size
– Capacity of gas tank: Maximum 11 kg
– Height of gas tank: max. 595 mm
– Diameter of gas tank: max. 304 mm
Hose and pressure regulator
– Hose and pressure regulator must be
suitable for liquid petroleum gas (pro-
pane/butane).
– Hose and pressure regulator must be
able to withstand the listed pressure
(“Technical data” on page GB-29).
– The gas hose must be a maximum of
1500 mm in length.
The scope of delivery of the gas BBQ grill
contains a single adapter designed to make
a direction connection between the hose/
pressure regulator and the gas grill.
• Before connecting the hose, check the
connecting element and the rubber rings.
The hose must be replaced if there are
signs of fissures, cracks or wear.
• During use, do not squeeze, bend or twist
the hose.
• Use a hose rupture safety device, which
is commercially available as an acces-
sory.
The gas pressure regulator must be
replaced after ten years at the latest. The
date of manufacture is indicated on the reg-
ulator as follows:
– The first two digits are the year, the next
letter represents the month (A for Janu-
ary, B for February, C for March, etc.).

Only use a suitable regulator that is cer-
tified according to EN16129.
Gas hose description
– DE/AT/LU/CH – PVC hose according to
EN 16436-1 2014 Class 2 ID6.3 × 3.5 mm
PVC hose with ¼" LH threaded brass
bushes at both ends L = 0.8 m
– SE – rubber hose according to EN
16436-1 2014 class 2 ID8 × 3.5 mm rub-
ber hose with 2 hose clamps L = 0.8 m
