Maintenance, cleaning and repair

Maintenance:
Regularly check if the screw connections are tight.

Cleaning:
Use a slightly damp cloth to clean the boom arm. Do not use chlorinated or

abrasive cleaning agents. These will cause damage to the surface and varnish.

Repair:
Immediately repair any damage that occurs and stop using the boom arm.

Maintenance work may only be carried out if you have the necessary knowledge. If any parts
u
are missing, contact the manufacturer at www.k-m.de. Here you can find a corresponding
u
spare parts list by entering the article number on the type label. Use this page to reorder
u
missing or damaged components.
2.) Mounting
Mount the boom arm on the stand:
Prerequisite,
the stand used must be set up correctly. Open clam-
ping screw

on the boom arm holder and place the
swivel arm on the stand. Tighten clamping screw

hand-tight again.
Tilt adjustment:
Hold the boom arm and loosen the
T-bar locking screw

on the joint. Set the desired in-
clination and retighten the T-bar locking screw

hand-tight.
Adjust the counterweight:
The counterweight is
used to keep the boom arm in balance. For the ad-
justment loosen the clamping screw

on the counter-
weight, bring the counterweight into the desired
position and retighten the clamping screw

hand-
tight. The balance can also be influenced by adjus-
ting the base tube or the extension tube.
