2.1.3
Anti-collision protection
The anti-collision protection is not meant for pinch protection
and personal protection! For physical reasons, “soft” obstacles
are difficult or impossible to detect! In the event of a collision
with an obstacle, it is possible for the obstacle to become dam-
aged because the table is moving at nominal speed.
Info about internal anti-collision protection
Anti-collision
protection
If the table is traveling upward or downward and encounters
and detects an obstacle, the anti-collision protection prevent
the table from traveling further. If an obstacle is detected, the
further travel of the table is stopped and a movement in re-
verse is initiated (difference of the reverse travel approx. 4cm).
Instructions for use
Start / acceleration phase
After a movement begins, obsta-
cles can only be detected after a distance of approx. 2cm is
covered after the nominal speed is reached.
Load:
Obstacles are difficult or impossible to detect with an
unloaded table. To ensure more reliable detection, the table
should be loaded evenly with a total weight of at least 20 kg.
Soft obstacles:
Soft obstacles are all types of obstacles that
initially yield upon collision, as is the case e.g. with human body
