Type of governor
- Decision between with or
without RPM control or the governor store mode.
In governor store mode the motor and battery
parameters are stored once and are not reset
with every start up.
Caution
: When the motor or battery count is
changed the mode has to be programmed new.
Otherwise damage may occur. Select Governor
store again.

Soft start
–
When activated spool up is even
smoother. Activation is only possible when RPM
control is activated.
o
Spool up time
- start up time for spool up. This
time infects also the start up time after bail out.
This time differs between 2-6s refering the
selected start up time.
Limits
: KOBY: 6s - 20s, other: 6s - 60s
Default
: 12s
Caution
: Too short spool up time may occur in a
damage of the helicopter.

Motor
o
Type of Brake
- Choice of no brake, normal
brake or proportional brake, which is used in
RC cars. Off means deactivation of brake.
o
Pole count
- To get the motor RPM instead of
physical RPM in the logs/telemetry, the pole
count of your motor has to be set.
o
Gear ratio
- to get the head or prop RPM in
geared usage for log/telemetry, the gear ratio
used has to be set.

Auto-Timing
- normally the timing for the
motor is calculated automatically by the ESC,
depending on the used power and the motor
parameters. To deactivate this automation
switch to Fix-timing.
o
Fix-Timing
- If the timing detection for the
motor is not working properly, the timing can
be set to fixed (this is equivalent to KSA
mode).
Limits
: Min 0° - Max 30°

wrong timing may cause to poor
motor run, efficiency and a hot motor.
