Cleaning the air paths
Dismounting the protective grid
When is dirty, clean the air paths in the device. For this purpose, you must unscrew the filter and
grille. Free uncovered electrical components.
Warning!
Your life might be put in danger by electricity or fire!

Before each time you open the air paths, pull the AC power cord from the
socket (but never pull the cable!) in order to disconnect it from the mains.
• In fixed wire connections, switch off the electric power supply into the device.

Press the front panel in places
shown by the two upper marking ar

rows and pull it towards you (see
picture) . Tip the front panel out until
you start feeling perceptible resistan
-
ce and it gets loose from the holder.
Get hold of the filter’s frame situated
down on the partition and take it out
of its holder (see “Changing the fil
-
ter”, page 90).

Use an appropriate flat-bladed scre
-
wdriver, stick it through the central
cavity into the horizontal arest chink
(in the back of the device) while pu
-
shing the foam matter situated inside
it downwards.
3.
Push she screwdriver into arrest until
the blocked fixing strap is released.
4.
Take the protective grid out of the
guiding groove.
5.
Carefully clean the air path manually,
using e.g. a vacuum cleaner.
