CABINET effect block

The shape of the cabinet and the type and number of speakers
are very important elements in determining the tonal character
of a guitar amp.
The CABINET effect block provides models that faithfully
simulate the cabinet and speaker characteristics of a variety of
guitar amps, from vintage to modern.
Although these models are especially effective when you are
plugged in to a mixer etc. via a direct line connection, they are
also effective when you are using a guitar amp.

Knob 1 AIR

This simulates the resonance of the

cabinet, and the comb filtering effect

produced by interference between the

speakers.

Decreasing this value will produce a

sound that is more suitable for connection

to a guitar amp. Increasing this value will

produce a sound that is more suitable for

direct-line connection.

Knob 2 LEVEL

Adjusts output level.

Knob 3 PRESENCE Adjusts tone of the high-frequency range.

If the sound distorts, slightly lower the LEVEL and
PRESENCE.
