Meaning: Since the sample data at the destination (save
location) is also used by the source sample, it can-
not be overwritten.
Action:
Without using Overwrite, specify a different sam-
ple for the destination (save location).
Meaning: The sample for editing is empty.
Meaning: The song that was specified as the copy destina-
tion or bounce destination does not exist.
Action:
Execute the Create New Song command in the
dialog box that appears when a new song is
selected before copying or bouncing.
Meaning: When deleting a directory, files or directories exist
within that directory.
Action:
Press the OK button to delete all files and/or
directories within that directory.
Meaning: When executing the Media mode utility com-
mand “Write to CD,” there is insufficient space
remaining on the CD-R/RW for the data to be
written.
Action:
Either write to other media, or remove unneeded
tracks.
Meaning: An error occurred while performing a physical
format (full format) or high-level format (quick
format) of the media.
Action:
Use other media.
Meaning: When executing the Media mode utility com-
mand “Convert to ISO9660 Format,” an error
occurred while rewriting the UDF area.
Action:
Use other media.
Meaning: An error occurred while reading data from media.
This error may also appear when data is being
written to media by a Save or Copy operation.
Action:
Execute the reading operation once again. If the
same error occurs, it is possible that the data on
the disk has been damaged.
Meaning: An error occurred while writing data to a
medium. (Verify error)
Action:
It is possible that the media has been physically
damaged. Try another media. Avoid using the
media that produced the error.
In the case of MS-DOS format media, execute the
Media mode Utility page menu command “Check
Medium.”
Meaning: During execution of Advanced Conversion Load,
the maximum number of eight programs was
exceeded. Depending on the structure of the
AKAI Program, it may be convert-loaded as mul-
tiple programs and one combination. In this case,
the number of TRITON Extreme programs result-
ing from the conversion is limited to the maxi-
mum number of programs that can used in a
combination (i.e., eight programs).
Action:
After loading one AKAI Program, edit it on the
TRITON Extreme.
Action:
Instead of using Advanced Conversion Load, load
the data as multisamples or samples, and then
edit it on the TRITON Extreme.
Meaning: When executing a Create Directory or File
Rename operation, a directory or file of the same
name already exists on the media.
Meaning: When executing the Media mode Utility “Copy”
command without using wild cards, the copy des-
tination contained a file of the same name as the
copy source.
Meaning: When you executed the Media mode Utility “Save
Sampling Data” for All, All Multisamples, All
Samples, or One Multisample, a directory already
existed on the media with the same name as the
directory that you attempted to create on the TRI-
TON Extreme.
Meaning: When sampling or saving to the media, a file of
the same name already exists.
Action:
Either delete the existing directory or file, or spec-
ify a different filename.
Meaning: You attempted to load an AIFF, WAVE, or KSF file
that was in a format not supported by the TRI-
TON Extreme.
Action:
In the case of a AIFF or WAVE file, use a computer
(if possible) to convert the file into a format that is
supported on the TRITON Extreme, and then load
it.
Meaning: You attempted to write to a file or to delete a file
that had a read-only attribute.
Action:
Use your computer to turn off the Read-Only
attribute.
Meaning: You attempted to save a file to media that con-
tained a read-only file of the same name.
Action:
Save the file with a different name.
Meaning: You attempted to load or open a file whose format
was incorrect.
Meaning: When loading a sample file in Media mode, the
specified file does not exist. Alternatively, the
specified filename does not exist in the location
you selected in a dialog box for choosing another
