3. Safety and General Notes
• The scales’ maximum load is 200 kg (440 lb)
• Do
not
stand on the outer edge to one side of the scale otherwise it may tip!
• Do
not
step onto the scale with wet feet or if the surface of the scale is damp –
danger of slipping!
• Keep children away from packaging materials.
Risk of suffocation!
• This product is not a toy. Children or persons who lack the knowledge or experi-
ence to use the device or whose physical, sensory or intellectual capacities are
limited must never be allowed to use the device without supervision or instruction
by a person responsible for their safety.
• The unit is for personal use
only
and is not intended for medical or commercial
applications.
Note:
Measuring tolerances are possible for technical reasons as this scale is not
calibrated for use in a professional medical context.
• Repairs may
only
be performed by an authorized customer services team.
• Should you have any questions concerning the use of our devices, please contact

• Manufacturer takes no responsibility for any damage caused by incorrect use.
• Protect your scale from impact with hard objects, moisture, dust, chemicals, toi-
letries, liquid cosmetics, great temperature fl uctuation, closeness to sources of
heat (open fi res, radiators) and strong electromagnetic fi elds.

Cleaning:
You can clean the scale with a damp cloth and a little washing up liquid,
if required. Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents. Never immerse the scale
in water nor rinse it under running water.
