6-3.3.2.1 Filter check
Check four motors (ND1, ND2, color and size).

Test procedure
Tools
Filters and stimulus plate
shall be mounted at
correct positions.
Perform the test in a dark room or cover the dome
front side with a blackout curtain for the test. For
details, see the description below.
Visual check
The stimulus appears below near the dome center ((r,
θ
)=(4,90)). The stimulus size is V. The
screen shows the current values of filters at the center.
1) ND1
2) ND2
Pressing the right and left arrow buttons on the right side changes the number and turret by 1.
Check that pressing the right (left) arrow button increments (decrements) the number and
darkens the stimulus. Check that, for ND2, the stimulus darkens as the number increases from 0
to 6 and lightens at number 7.
3) Color
Pressing the right and left arrow buttons on the right side changes the color. Check the
consistency between the displayed and stimulus colors. Each pressing of the right (left) arrow
button changes the color as white

blue
→
red (red
→
blue
→
green
→
white).
4) Size
Pressing the right and left arrow buttons on the right side changes the size. Check the
consistency between the displayed and stimulus sizes. Each pressing of the right (left) arrow
button increases (decreases) the size by 1.
