You can configure any IP address, gateway address, subnet mask, or PLC name from
peripheral tools.
Configurable IP address range: 0.0.0.1 to 223.255.255.254
Class A, B, C compatible
The default values are shown below.
IP address: 192.168.0.10
Subnet mask: 255.255.0.0
Default gateway :0.0.0.0
Autoconfiguration
Automatically retrieve and configure IP addresses, gateway addresses, and subnet masks
from the DHCP server.
If the IP address cannot be obtained within 2 minutes (the acquisition is requested again
30 seconds after the failure of one acquisition; the fixed address is obtained when four
consecutive failures occur), the fixed value is set as follows.
IP address: 192.168.0.10
Subnet mask: 255.255.0.0
Default gateway :0.0.0.0
Peripheral Tool Automatic Search

You can obtain the IP address, gateway address, subnet mask, and PLC name of the
SJ-Ether on the same network and select from among the acquired names.

You can connect through gateways on different sub-networks.
MAC address display
The special register displays your MAC address.
Self IP display
A special register displays the set IP address, gateway address, and subnet mask.
When using Port3(EtherNet communication, change the IP address of the Port3 by connecting the serial cable from the Port1 or set the
PC to the factory setting (IP address: 192.168.0.**, subnet mask: 255.255.0.0).
